This customer wanted a large table to entertain family and friends. He wanted plenty of comfortable seating with flexibility for daily use and large get-togethers.

I worked with the customer to come up with a design where the table would look and function like a regular table for daily use and we built in an additional hidden slide out table top with drop down legs for when a large group wanted to all dine and socialize together.

The nine foot main table seats eight with plenty of elbow room for everyone. When they have parties or family events, they use the six foot slide out to add comfortable seating for an additional six people.
